I'm so honored :D and thanks K-L for your lovely comment :D <blockquote>The name may also be from the ancient Hittite diety Aplu, a god of healing, who may in turn have come from the Akkadian sun god Aplu Enlil, whose name meant literally “son of Enlil”, Enlil being one of the chief Sumerian gods. </blockquote> That's a pretty interesting link. I wonder if there's anything to it? Although I thought that Apollo, didn't start out as a sun god, but once he acquired solar attributes, he began to take over from the God Helios. Still what you say about Apollo’s name indicating Source energy, etc, makes me wonder if he had Solar attributes all along. Thanks Jeff for including my image. I’m so honored :D
